Rabbi Rafael Kahan

MAGGID SHIUR

Rabbi Rafael Kahan was born and raised in Antwerp and spent his formative yeshiva years in Gateshead Yeshivas Beis Yosef. Following this he learned for ten years in Yerushalyim in various Yeshivas and Kollelim where he was heavily influenced by many great people under whose orbit he was under. In 2023, he moved to Edgware with his family. He currently learns mornings and afternoons at Kollel Netzach Yisroel and is the iyun Maggid Shiur at the Evening Beis.

Rabbi Daniel Fine

MAGGID SHIUR

Rabbi Fine spent twelve years in Israel - learning at Yeshivat Hakotel, Ohr Samayach, Mir and Heichal Hatorah (Reb Tzvi's). He was a Maggid Shiur at Aish Gesher before moving back to London and serving as the community rabbi at Stanmore Synagogue for five years. Currently, Rabbi Fine heads the Hasmonean Beis Chadash programme and is a Seed educator and its Schools Director. He holds a law and management degree from LSE, took a counselling course and has authored four books including Journey Through Nach and the most recently a resource for Shabbos table discussions. Rabbi Fine and his Mancunian wife Janine live in Edgware with their five children.

Dayan Eliezer Zobin

MAGGID SHIUR

Dayan Zobin grew up in Golders Green. After graduating Hasmonean High School he learned at yeshivos and kollelim in Israel for seventeen years, receiving Semicha at Yeshivas Be’er Yaakov. He graduated with an MA in Jewish Education from London University. Dayan Zobin is a highly sought out posek and rabbinic figure across the community, including by many of the Evening Beis students who benefit from his thoughtful wisdom and sage advice. Dayan Zobin gives a popular machshava shiur at the Beis on Thursday night. Dayan Zobin is Rabbi of Ner Yisrael and a Dayan on the London Beth Din.

Rabbi Shmuli Sagal

MAGGID SHIUR

R' Sagal grew up in London and attended Hasmonean High School. Following two years at Yeshivat Kerem B’Yavneh, he attended Yeshiva University in New York. At YU he earned a BA in History, an MA in Jewish History and Semicha from RIETS. He also spent time at YU’s Gruss Kollel in Jerusalem and Hebrew University. R' Sagal has a Graduate Diploma in Law from BPP University in London. He is Rabbi of Shomrei Hadath Federation and Safra D'dayna for Gittin and Kiddushin at the Federation Beis Din. Previously he led Sutton United Synagogue.
